Gee, being such a gen-x'er, I always thought "western union" was a euphemism for the missionary position.
I was crossing Guerrero Street the other day when a pasty laden car backing out of Tartine almost gumby'd me (in the crosswalk (is this too geographical specific?)) A woman came to my aid and then asked me if I ever wire money and would I consider trying out for a Western Union money wiring commercial. So I guess WU is still in some sort of business. Do people who get hit by cars tend to wire more money?
